A perfectionist by nature, Capriece has fine-tuned his practice over the last decade and a half by servicing an international clientele with the highest of sophistication and standards in not only the hair industry, but also in fashion, music, cinema, travel, cuisine, art, education, technology, and the like. Capriece’s roots go back to two dynamic, post-modern downtown salons in Milwaukee—one of which he single-handedly pioneered into the first and only multicultural, multi-service salon; the other he facilitated the conception and implementation of the salon’s interior design, managed the boutique of 7, educated an apprentice, achieved high levels of education, participated in and perused countless hair shows; all while building and maintaining an exciting & loyal client base.
Striking out on his own in 2003, Capriece moved to the Bay Area and found his way to Soma’s Grasshopper Salon. During his stint there, he continued to specialize in Color, Cuts, Men’s Cuts, Straightening & the mastering of all hair textures. This period marked Capriece’s beginning in Yuko Thermal Reconditioning Techniques, Pivot Point Cutting, and Toni & Guy Advanced Cut & Color Philosophy.
It is now at Patrick Evan Salon & Spa that Capriece delivers his most senior work by combining all of his experience, education, and zeal for beautiful, healthy hair. Capriece continues to hone his interest in cultivating the Client/Stylist relationship by educating clients on how to extend services at home or on their own in order to maximize potential from salon services. He still believes after all his time in the hair industry that the best service a Stylist can offer a client is to be open, upfront, and honest about a client’s hair goals. That and taking the time to give the highest quality work reflective of the latest industry trends, discoveries, techniques, products, and looks with his own avant-garde twist.
